This year, our team bonding activities included playing Mario Kart and Overcooked, as well as a hands-on LEGO building challenge.
In Mario Kart, we focused on enhancing our driving reflexes and practicing how to stay composed under pressure. Meanwhile, Overcooked helped us develop critical communication skills and reinforced the importance of teamwork in high-stress situations. Both games were not only entertaining but also offered valuable learning experiences that translate well to our collaborative work as a team.
Additionally, we conducted a LEGO building activity in which students were paired up and tasked with constructing a LEGO set using only an image of the final product—no instructions provided. This exercise was designed to simulate the challenges of building a robot without step-by-step guidance, preparing students for the creative problem-solving and collaboration required in the upcoming robotics season.
